  • Chemical Drug Research Scientist

    1.2Job Description

    The primary responsibilities are to lead a group of scientists to discover and validate pioneer drugs. The successful candidate will lead/participate in pre-clinical programs, using their skills to accomplish the following responsibilities.

    l Design and execute in vitro experiments (biochemistry and cell biology) to evaluate drug leads.

    l Design and supervise master/bachelor level scientists to execute experiments.

    l Work with broader scientific teams to design and execute experiments aimed at discover biological mechanisms and identify new drug targets.

    l Identify and evaluate potential therapeutic targets through comprehensive literature study

    l Engage colleagues in cross-disciplinary scientific discussion, present scientific data to internal and external audiences.

    l Present and communicate internally and to collaborators.

    Chemical Drug

    l Education: Biochemistry & Molecular biology Ph.D.

    l Fluency in English  

    l Excellent in oral presentation both in English and Chinese

    l Excellent negotiation skill

    l Strategic thinking

    l Strong leadership

    l Demonstrated scientific insight and problem solving, as evident in original research, contribution to drug discovery, or authorship in publication or invention.

    l Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues across multiple areas.

    l Experience in managing scientists in a research organization will be plus.

    l Excellent analytical, organizational and trouble-shooting skills

    l Years of multinational pharmaceutical industry Experience: 3 years 


  • Gene Therapy Research Scientist

    Job Description

    l This person must have extensive experience with adeno associated virus (AAV) vectors.

    l Major responsibilities include:Identification and development of new AAV Applications, AAV Capsids development, Vector design,Optimize Vector Cassette

    l Follow cutting-edge technology and methodology in AAV-mediated gene delivery and genome editing

    l Contribute to business strategy by providing inputs scientific inputs.

    Requirements

    l Education: Molecular biology Ph.D. or Virology Ph.D.

    l Fluency in English  

    l Excellent in oral presentation both in English and Chinese

    l Excellent negotiation skill

    l Strategic thinking

    l Strong leadership

    l Minimum of 3 years' previous experience working in the development of cell and gene therapies using viral and/or non-viral vectors, preferably in an industry setting 

    l Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues across multiple areas.

    l Experience in managing scientists in a research organization will be plus.

    l Excellent analytical, organizational and trouble-shooting skills
